Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) - is a healing art that works with the energies that create and maintain health in the human system. While not a manipulative therapy, it has its roots in osteopathy and has evolved to include influences from advances in neuroscience, human development, pre and perinatal psychology, and trauma resolution. Practitioners use an educated gentle, non-invasive touch to listen for and to engage with the expressions of health in the system. BCST supports nervous system regulation and allows the resolution of conditions resulting from stress and trauma.
People often say that health means physical vitality, emotional well-being, a sense of purpose, and a capacity to enjoy life. BCST’s strength is in its ability to access an inherent vitality within the body that helps to restore health in all dimensions of overall well-being. BCST is specifically oriented to support the way this vitality meets the conditions underlying the causes of disease, particularly the experiences of stress and overwhelm that interfere with our body’s natural ability to heal. Clients frequently report feeling less discomfort, more energy, resilience, and mental clarity. As feelings of well-being begin to arise, clients often notice a sustainable improvement in their symptoms.
Somatic Experiencing (SE™) - Aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies and nervous systems. Trauma, from an SE lens, is focused on how it shows up in the nervous system and how dysregulation impacts life. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient. It is a body-oriented therapeutic model applied in multiple professions and professional settings—psychotherapy, medicine, coaching, teaching, and physical therapy—for healing trauma and other stress disorders from a nervous system lens within a practitioner’s scope of practice. It is based on a multidisciplinary intersection of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics and has been clinically applied for more than four decades. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine.
The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming patterns that get stuck and impact people’s daily life. It can be used to support the resolution of PTSD and developmental attachment trauma. It offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states. SE provides effective skills appropriate to a variety of healing professions including mental health, medicine, physical and occupational therapies, bodywork, addiction treatment, first response, education, and others. These SE skills support healing professionals holistically apply their work in supporting individuals and groups.
Reiki - Is a practice developed from a Japanese method of deep relaxation and stress reduction. This state is achieved by a light touch or by the practitioner placing their hands over the physical body. The energy or Light Force released through the practitioner’s hands, flows into the recipient’s body. Once the body achieves relaxation, it returns to a balanced state creating a healthy environment within. This state of balance creates the possibility of improved health and well-being.
The Akashic Records - Are an energetic “recording” of every thought, word, deed, motive, intention, and feeling a soul has experienced since its first incarnation into a physical form. Your Record is like an in-depth autobiography, written without judgment regarding choices made or outcomes manifested. It interacts with the soul’s present experience because all past experiences and thoughts influence one’s current life. Past experiences also affect how one responds, relates, or reacts to life in the present moment. The Akashic Records are an excellent source of guidance, especially regarding healing wounds from past lives and uncovering unconscious beliefs which may be holding us back.
